Mangalore, Mar 13: M.V. CMB POMEROL, a new bulk carrier owned by M/s Pacific Bridge Shipping Corporation, Republic of Panama, carrying 89,794 metric tones of coal called at New Mangalore Port on 10-3-2012 as her maiden voyage. This is the highest parcel size of coal ever handled at the port. The vessel has been received on behalf of the Port Management and garlanded the captain of the vessel, Mr. Eduardp H Mondres. The entire consignment imported from South Africa for M/s Jindal Steel(JSW) Ltd. was discharged at the deep draft berth of NMP using harbor mobile cranes and the vessel sailed out on 13-3-2012.
